Terms of service
Terms of service
1. Parties
The service is provided by Årebladet AB, company registration 559408-7685, Västgård Kall, Kallvägen 33, 837 93 Järpen, Sweden ("we"), trading as EigenSelect. Full details are on the legal notice. You are the person or organisation that confirms a selection and pays for it ("you").
2. What you buy
One resolved pick is: the canonicalization of the outcome set you supplied, the publication of a commitment to that set and to the exact circuit before execution, one single-shot measurement of that circuit on physical quantum hardware (re-executed identically, at our expense, if the measurement falls outside the domain), the publication of the resolution, and a report in PDF form documenting the whole chain together with the records needed to verify it independently. A selection that asks for several winners is several picks, executed in sequence with the pool shrinking by the previous winner each time.
The measurement is a uniform physical selection over the outcome set. We do not predict, choose, or influence which outcome results, and no outcome is more likely than any other. We do not certify the legality of your draw and we are not a party to it.
3. How the contract is formed
Your order is placed when you press "Confirm and proceed to payment" (or settle against a reservation code). The contract is concluded when the payment settles. The outcome set becomes final at confirmation and cannot be changed afterwards; a different set is a new transaction.
4. Price and payment
The price is €50 per resolved pick, including Swedish VAT at the rate in force. The total for your transaction is shown before you pay. Payment is by card through Stripe. Businesses inside the EU with a valid VAT number can enter it at checkout and are invoiced accordingly. Your Stripe receipt is your invoice.
5. Timing
Execution starts as soon as your payment settles. Quantum hardware is a shared, queued resource with no guaranteed turnaround; a resolution typically arrives within minutes and can take longer. You are notified by email when the report is ready, and the status page linked in that email shows progress in the meantime. We do not promise a delivery time.
6. Right of withdrawal
As a consumer in the EU you normally have fourteen days to withdraw from a distance contract for a service. Because you ask us to begin executing your selection immediately on payment, and because a measurement that has been performed cannot be un-performed, you expressly request immediate performance at checkout and acknowledge that once execution has begun you lose the right of withdrawal. Until execution has begun (that is, until we have contacted the processor for your transaction) you may withdraw by writing to info@eigenselect.com quoting your transaction ID, and we refund the full amount.
7. When we cannot deliver
If we cannot verify that the hardware is what we say it is, if no commitment could be published before execution, or if the retry limit is exhausted without a valid measurement, the transaction halts and any payment taken is refunded in full, automatically, to the card that paid. We never substitute a simulated result. A resolved measurement whose report fails to render is retried; if it still cannot be rendered, we contact you and either deliver the report by hand or refund the pick, your choice.
If we cannot deliver for any other reason, tell us at the address above; your rights under mandatory consumer law, including the right to a price reduction or a refund for a service not performed, are unaffected by anything on this page.
8. What is published, permanently
The commitment and resolution records are published to the public DNS zone eigenselect.eu and to public Nostr relays, and the manifest and circuit are served from this site. Those records contain: the transaction ID, the transaction title you enter, the number of outcomes, cryptographic digests, timestamps, and the numeric index of the winning outcome. They do not contain the outcome set, the names in it, or your email address. Records published to DNS and Nostr cannot be recalled by us. Choose the transaction title with that in mind; it is public the moment you confirm.
9. Your obligations
You confirm that you are entitled to submit the outcome set (for example, that participants in a draw know their names are being processed), that you will not include in the transaction title anything you do not want to be public forever, and that any draw, raffle, or competition you run on the result complies with the law that applies to it.
10. Liability
Our liability for a transaction is limited to the price you paid for it, except for liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you. We are not liable for decisions you or others take on the basis of a resolved selection.
11. Changes and law
We may change these terms for future transactions; the version in force when you confirmed applies to yours. Swedish law applies. Disputes go to the Swedish courts, or to the consumer bodies named in the legal notice. Nothing here limits protection you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live.
